What weights should I be using? The chart tells me 6-9k I should use 73g and 9k + to use 68g Should I be shooting for about 70 grams. The lodge is at about 8,200 ft and I would assume the riding will only go up from there. Any help would be great. And again the sled is a '09 M8 HCR with just a can and a shift assist.

Two responsens and two completely different answers. I think I'll put in my 70g Cutler adjustables and then add weight easily if I need to, I also have a set of 68g's in case I need to drop some weight. Hope to get a few more responses though.

I have a 09 standard M8 162 and run 68 grams at 10,000 ft. I also have a SLP pipe and the sled turns 8000-8100 with the 68's.

If your stock and shooting for 7800, I think the 70's are a good starting point.

Most all your riding, except for the trail will be 9000' plus, so I would go with the 68. The snow should be getting heavy with moisture soon and it takes a little more to pull. I was there two weeks ago and found good snow in the trees, armpit deep and not much of a base. Tough stuff to go in.
