I have an 08' nytro 162" with the mcx 240 kit. I have it clutched perfect for sea level at 12psi. I have super tips at 64 grams, blue white blue primary, 14.5 rollers, 47 degree helix with a epi purple wound to 1/0
my question is what to do for 7-10000' in elevation. will the turbo compensate enuff when it tries to keep the hp at 240 or will i need to reclutch? also is stock drivers sufficient enough at this hp level, i have 250 miles on them now boosted and look new. Also is the 270 kit worth the extra money or will i be happy here, this is my first boosted sled. Thank you for any advice.

My experience with clutching these sleds is to not worry bout it..haha! I have a mcx with the 270 fuel pump. Im quite sure that your sled with what sounds to be a very similar setup will not know the difference in elevation. last year I went from 162x2.25x15 to 174x3x16 (tracks are a 25pound difference) and never even had to touch the clutching....increadable!

Dont worry about the fuel pump kit. I put the kit on last year and never even turned up the boost from my normal 16psi on pump. I promise thats enouph power for anything you want to climb. if your not makin it over anything you point at it because of lack of traction and mostly because of wheelying... the secret to my program is rear suspention setup and keeping the skiis 4" off the ground instead of 4feet!!

Hope this helps
