Clutch torque specs

I can't find torque specs to my clutch so can somebody tell me the specs for spider, spider nut and primary bolt? My sled is 16 pro rmk 800

Per the Axys manual:

Spider: 280-300ft-lbs (apply Loctite 243 or 242 w/Primer N)

Spider Jam Nut: 290-330 ft-lbs (same Loctite usage as above)

Drive Clutch Bolt: 80 ft-lbs (Re-torque after running engine)

i am no mechanic, but that seems extremely high.
are you sure you don’t mean inch pounds???

300 ft/lbs in an enormous amount of torque

Yep, they take serious torque! Takes a very very stout bench and expensive torque wrench. I always have to go to our farm shop to use tractor tools.

You'll need a 3/4" drive torque wrench typically to achieve that kind of torque. I think mine was $80 at harbor freight.

My holding fixture slides into the hitch receiver on my truck :)

Its nice and solid, and back when I use to drag race sleds I would sometimes break down the primary at the test track to adjust side clearance for testing reasons.

Those spiders are on there! You think your going to break something trying to take them apart. Eric
