Clutch tool

I found the (OEM) clutch separator tool sorta works in a tight area, even with the cover removed.
I wish to make a longer bolt, but it appears it needs to be a 1/4" (SAE) thread with a "step-down" on the tip. IN search was not successful.
I could try a regular bolt, but did not want to damage the sheave. Anyone have a picture of such sheave I can see if that's the case?

I made one a few yrs back out of a standard bolt 4” long. As far as I know it didn’t damage the sheave. Not sure why you think it will damage the sheave.
