It keeps the shive faces from hitting each other in a fully shifted position, I the past the two halves would hit each other if the clutches shifted out too far, that spacer prevents the clutch from shifting out too far. I wonder if it my be contributing to belt slippage as there is nothing stopping the driven from shifting out farther than the drive.
What's the deal with the floating clutch spacer for the REV's is it worth while or not?
