clutch set up for 3000-6000

ive got an 05 800, dont seem to pull the r's that should. i put a 7 tooth 3in pitch driver on it with a 162 x 2.5 track and ive got 19t-39t gearing in the chain case. the clutchs are still stock. if you got some good suggestions to make this work better i would appreciate it

almond red primary spring, 10-64, 10-66, depending on rpm. secondary red black spring, 66-42 helix.
also if you have more than 1000 miles rebuild your primary. this is the main cause of rpm drop.

I'd go for the 64's with the ALMOND /red primary spring

I had a 2002 EDGE-X 800, STOCK pipe with SLP head, V-FORCE reeds,SLP big air kit

ran the ALMOND/red with 10-66's @ 1200'

and at 6600' same spring and 10-62's

7900-8000 R.P.M. is where you need to be at

if you haven`t done it before, take it to a dealer that you trust and get him to check it and show you if any bushings or rollers are worn out. it requires alot of specialized tools. primary clutch maintaince is the most important thing in older sleds.

also the clutch springs should be replaced every year.
