clutch on 04

there is a few things done to my sled, and my tach is not working. i had a guy tell me it sounds like its bouncing off the rev limiter.its does it all day long untill i find some deep powder with a real good load than i quits. there is a spring in it equivilent to the stock xp spring, i believe its purple/blue. and i have a light pin weight kit. my gear ratio is 2.44. should i just put the next step pin weight kit in or should i mess with the spring too? and there seems like there is too much heat on the primary also. any help would be awesome. thanks.

also, forgot to add, it was blowing belts bad so i took it to a dealership to have it checked out. he looked at the clutch and said the parts were in good shape my torque stopper behind the cylinder was shot. just wanted to add that all the parts in the clutch are in apparent good shape.

The new track your getting will change the setup a lot. Is your primary hotter than your secondary? How much pin weight are you running, What is the spring rate for the primary spring, what spring is in the secondary, what size drivers do you have, what belt are you running?

04 had the best clutching STOCK ,for are snow conditions we would gear 19-47 on the 151,19-45 spring riding, but had a team roller 58-44-.46 with black red spring clicker#3 no need for a tach it should be 8100 rpm, i even went to that clutching for my 05 151 ,the team was a very good upgrade. Hope this helps, we ride 2500 to 7000 feet

the new track should help cause it will grab a lot better and put a larger load on, primary is hotter than seconday and i dont know what spring jonny has in that secondary. doubt he messed with it, running 15.5 grams. and i dont know what the spring rate is, summit in boz just told me i have the stock xp spring, which is made to handle a bit more power than the stock rev one. i got 10 tooth drivers and the factory spec. belt.
