clutch noise at idle

i just got a 2003 rx 1 at idle the clutch is making noise.if i bring the rpm's up to 2000 rpm's it goes away.what can the problem be and what is the fix?thanks for the help

That's just the gear reduction making noise. Mine does it too. It is completely normal.

I won't say this is normal on a high miler because clutches do wear out, but I had an 2004 RX1 for years and the clatter was completely normal. I didn't really like it but it doesn't effect anything. If you want to quieten it down you can add new weights, rollers and buttons for the spyder but you won't get more than a couple of hundred clicks before it starts up again. If you have less than say 3000 miles and don't race all the time "chill"! Hope this eases your mind.
