Clutch lube

Does anyone know why Polaris makes clutch lube and what its purpose is?

It is a dry lubricant that can be used on the buttons and bushings. It won't attract or trap any dirt.

The stuff I used is oil based and far from dry.

I wouldn't use anything that was greasy on the clutches. I figured it was more like this.
