clutch clutching cluch alignment clutch problem indeed

service manual has a process of alignment but does anyone else have kind of "their own way"?

i cant get the clutches close to aligned. there isnt enough movement in the front right mount. im thinking about shimming the back right forward? has anyone else done this?
i also need almost a half inch of spacers behind the secondary? that dosnt seem right at all.

the front left mount is badly worn and the torque link rubber is cracked. as the mounts sinch up they should always find center no matter how worn right? the bolt sandwhiches the rubber i beleive?

i have ordered new rubbers and im not going to try much till they arrive but i need some input.

i did a bunch of loosening and prying while tightening and finally got it down to .074 but thats still not enough.

i ordered new mounts for a cool 150 bux. im sure it wont bring it all the way where its supposed to be but at least i will have a fresh start to re do everything again again again.

has no one had this problem? better question has anybody ever checked out their alignment?

what happened to all the builders on here anyway? i think they all moved on to rv-ing across america

another good question: why is that stupid torque link non adjustable? im going to have to make my own adjustable one when im all aligned i bet
