I got to do something really neat...write an article on maintenance for sleddermag.
At first when they asked me to write this, I got at it and after a few days it was 11 pages long - yeesh!
The editor, Patrick G, *gulped* and said..."heh, its kinda long man, can you shorten it up to 3-1/2, 4 pages at the most?
Hmm...ok, that's a challenge because I just can't help myself being long winded (thorough) in an explanation. I got to reading other articles from other contributors to learn their style of writing and ended up chopping er' down to a concise 3 pages.
