Clutch Alignment / Maintenance Questions

I'm relatively new to snowmobile maintenance, but have been doing my homework on clutch alignment and how important it is. I'm running a 2006 700 (755) RMK which I bought from the third owner last spring at 600 total miles. Now the sled has around 700 miles on it. I don't have any aftermarket torque arms or stops yet and am still running the 3211080 belt. So far the sled has run fine and I have just done routine maintenance on it.

I bought the SLP clutch alignment tool PN 20-191 to check my clutch alignment. I believe my clutch has the TSS-98 secondary clutch, despite SLP's instructions that came with the alignment tool, because I see 8 bolts on the inside face of the secondary. (Am I correct in this logic?)

With the primary somewhere in the middle of its free play (float), there is no gap at Pt C (see attached instructions) and about .065" between the alignment tool and the outboard of the secondary clutch at pt D (motor twisted about 0.025" clockwise beyond SLP's alignment spec). I have about .078" of free play (float) in my secondary and SLP recommends .02 to .04".

Here are my questions:
1. Should I even bother messing with my alignment at this point, or is it not far enough out to justify spending the better part of a weekend day pulling the primary, loosening motor mounts, tightening motor mounts, etc and possibly making things worse.
2. Should I try to get the free play (float) in the secondary down to where there is closer to SLP's recommendation?
3. If I do need to start taking things apart, would this be a good time to start looking into adding aftermarket torque arms / stops, 3211115 belt, primary balancing / shimming / etc? I've already spent a fair amount on other mods this season so would rather hold off on spending more if I can avoid it.

I'd say your alignment is okay. The big block Polaris engines don't technically have adjustable engine mounts. The reason I say technically is because you can play around with torqueing the mounts in different orders to get better alignment. However, .025" is damn good.
Most definitely invest in SLP torque mounts, the 115 belt and clutch balancing.
