Closing Marble Mtn and Cougar snoparks

Does anyone have info about another meeting with the snomobile clubs around this area and officials concerning closing the sno parks for good because of lack of monies? I've heard it is Saturday in Woodland, but do not know where and what time. We will definetly be there along with alot of other riders who have also heard, to support NOT closing any snopark. What do we pay for? Help Needed Desperatly, Info needed badly. Want to be there and voice our concern!!!!

marble and cougar

My understanding was the the parks were closed due to too much snow and some downed trees?? More info needed here as well.
What can we do to help the situation. This is a huge resource for a bunch of people.

today in the yakima herald

it says:marble mtn. and cougar non-motorized snow parks are closed until further notice because of heavy snowfall and downed trees.forest road 83 is closed at the junction with the 90 road, and even travel on the 90 to the 83/90 junction isn't recommended because of hazardous road conditions and limited parking.

Working Together

I hope they can get the parks open! So far I have not seen anything that I can attend to help them get reopened. If we all work together they will open them again! Anyone with good information please post.
