JOnes Pass has to be about the closest. I-70 West to US 40. Up to the first hairpin turn and follow signs to Jones Pass.

Jones Pass sucks, thats where all the tree huggers have their tree hugging conventions while snowshoeing and XC skiing. Your best bet is to head further west.....Nevada or California...some of the best riding in the world out there, but keep a lid on it. We don't want that getting out to everybody.

Jones Pass is closed to motorized use. We lost that battle. I spoke with the Forest Service and than double checked with Red Fox.

I have heard the CU Campus. The boondocking is great, cept occasionally you hit a couple treehuggers.
