Am here for Christmas and looking for a place to go near Marysville? Where should we go and how far to find snow? Thanks, appreciate any info on where to go
Closest place to Marysville would be Segelson Creek just off Hwy 530 near Darrington. About 30 miles from Marysville. It is on Swede Haven Road (turn left off 530 at Whitehorse Store). Baker would be the next spot to ride but thats about twice as far. I rode segelson last weekend and there is plenty of snow there. We unloaded right at swede haven and didn't even drive up to the parking area of the sno park. Hopefully was groomed this week but the cell tower guys groomed all the way up the road so trail was in good shape last weekend. Let me know if you need a tour guide. Maybe can sneak away for a little bit and do some testing on a fresh rebuilt sled. Im about 10 minutes north of Marysville.
