CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM $495.00

Pure Logic Tuning

Well-known member
Pure Logic Tuning is pleased to release a closed loop system. This system includes the fuel controller,02 Gauge and the sensor. This system will work with any fueling box on the market and will close loop the system. The OVS turbo kit for the Polaris includes this system for 2014. This is just what people have been waiting for an easy to set closed loop system that will work with any system on the market BD, Dobeck, Vipec, Bully Dog, Power Commander and others. This system was tested all last year on the snow not on a dyno or a test bench on multiple Polaris Turbo sled's from 2011-2013. This system was awesome just set it up to the 02 reading that your turbo kit requires and ride it for the season. These units are in high demand so get yours ordered early before the snow is upon us. Contact Travis at 801-940-7777 or Garr at 801-791-0403.

How are the o2 sensors holding up in the 2 strokes? Where are you installing them in the pipe? Is there a fail safe to the system if the o2 sensor fails due to oil in the exhaust? I am very interested because if this works it will be game changing in turbo technology.

I was talking to Junior at BD a couple weeks ago with the same question on running an afr he said you might have to change out the sensor once a year due to the oil mix. He said just the probe was about hundred bucks.

you can get new sensors at Napa for around $60 bucks or less. and unless your running straight leaded fuel and heavy on the oil, once a year is just good preventative maintinance.

Why would I run another system with the ViPec to get to run a closed loop system if I waited .????

I would do the analog gauge and not the LCD. I have had the analog, digital and LCD and the easiest to read by far was the analog. We also had some moisture issues with the LCD.

I was tbinking about the lcd only because it says u can datalog. Is this feature not really that useful? I already have a aem afr gauge

I've used the datalog function in the lcd alot. It is the best tool you get for tuning the pcv. It makes it so much easier to get the mapping perfect.
I've seen somwhere a pelican case for the lcd. That eliminates the moisture problem.
I do thou only use the lcd when tuning. When mapping is done, i dont need to have a gauge.

Can I get some more info on what this closed loop system does? Is it a so called auto tune device/kit? How does it work with the 2013 BD box included the EBC?

To answer some of your questions
1-i have not had anymore proplems with the 02sensor on the 2-strokes than the 4-strokes it depends on how you have them mounted in the exhaust. My sensors have to be changed every 2 years.
2-The system does use an analog gauge it is part of the package.
3-The system works with any of the systems and lets you set it and forget it.
4-The reason the system was completed and used for Vipec and others is they have said they will be closed loop capable but it has been 2 years and still not available.
5-This system was developed to be a unit that does not cost a arm and a leg for those not wanting to change to a expensive stand alone system.
6-If you have questions on more items please feel free to give me a call at (801)940-7777

What is your definition of closed loop and what items are you looping in to your system? Timing, fuel, iat, engine coolant temp, baro, map, tps, rpm, det, egt, boost, AFR?

What data are you using to get your parameters just AFR at a 12.8 ratio?

There is three different maps in the stock Polaris ecu. Are you close looping each map? Does the closed loop system know what map you are in?

Vipec can be as closed loop as or as open as you want it.

I think closed loop one of the most missed used term in the snowmobile world.
