This past weekend my father went riding with a friend in Grand Lake, Co. While playing in an untouched meadow he stopped to take a break and noticed a fresh pile of animal ****. Not but 5 second later a full grown cow moose stands up from behind a tree and took a few steps towards my father. She was no more than 15 feet from him and was not going to move. He tried yelling at her, stand up on his sled and revving his sled to try and get her to move a long. After about 5 mins he decided we was going to shoot through a gap in the trees. As soon as the moose started to turn away he pinned it and this caused the moose to turn back around and lung towards my dad, just missing him. Very close call and would have been a bad time to get stuck.
