Free climb with no safety line at the top and OSHA allows it, holy chit that is crazy. We were just talking about this when driving past the two in IA on our way to Hay Days.

I wouldn't do it if the elevator went to the top...

I've climbed a cell tower, that was bad enough!! You'd have to be in good shape just to make that climb. I've talked with guys that have done 1,000ft towers, there is usually a elevator part way up, and alot of swaying when you get near the top. My palms are sweaty watching that! You couldn't pay me enough!!

I am a lineman in BC...never climbed a tower but lots of friends have.They are built with cranes or helis or both.Too bad there is no vid there now...would have liked to have seen it...it is a great job.
