Clearance measurement between Avid Chaincase & Skinz Airframes

Just finished my Avid chaincase on my 12 Pro and cut my boards off for the Skinz Airframes and they won't fit. Obviously i'll have to cut and reweld the corner part of the frame that contacts the case. Who has had to do this and could you post up a pic or info on what you did! Looking to see how others did it before i start cutting. Thanks. Higgins.

Totally misread the title to your post! I thought you had Skinz Airframes on a Clearance sale. An over stock of any Skinz product(especially Airframes) is the 6th sign of the Apocalypse. Up is down, black is white, dogs and cats living together in peace. Be very afraid, lol. Sorry, back to topic. Can anyone help this man with his problem?

I put on the Burandt boards on and I have an Avid case but I don't know how different skins are from the Burandts. I tied my rock guard for the chain case to the front of the running board and the foot well hoop. Hope you can follow that chitty description. All I know is it feels solid with my fat a$$.

Sorry poor description for the post heading, thanks for the edit. The front of the Skinz board touches or interferes with the rear of the case so i basically have to notch or square out that small portion. I'll post a pic when i get home from work!

You are correct, there needs to be a notch cut out and re-welded to allow for the chain case. I'll measure mine if you'd like, I used some solid stock bar to make the off set out of.

This is a pic of the VEI Ultra running boards that had to have corner angled to clear the Avid Chaincase.
