Hey guys just wondering how you guys normaly clean them, and how often you clean them? I was also wondering if anyone has ever used a sand blaster on them? Will it have any affects on them? I had an old valve that I put in the sand blaster at work and it looks way better than me scrapping it with a carpet knife, but wondring if it could hurt it in any way that im not thinking of. Thanks guys and gals.

I use carb spray, it seems to soften the carbon builded. I also scrape very gently with a razor blade. I clean them in the fall and before any trip out west.

Just saw an article on this subject in the Dec. issue of Snowest magazine. On page 46 in the Mod-Stock section a mechanic explains how to do it and they also have pictures. Check it out.
