cleaned reeds, sled fires then dies??

My sled is a 07 D7. I had a idling problem last season, sled usually idled at 1350-1450 rpm and aliitle rough. I have sealed by airbox a couple seasons ago but my tb's still were abit dirty. Pulled the reeds and found debris caught in the reed peddles. They were still in good shape, gave them a clean and put them back in. Put everything back together and gave her a pull, sled fires, revs up and dies. Tps setting didn't change, throttle cable might still need aliitle adjustment. What's missing or what did a forget to do?

thx

Plenty of fuel in tank? Pinched fuel line? Pinched fuel tank vent? Dirty/plugged fuel filter? Fuel pump issues? You mentioned debris in the reed valves, so check the fuel filter first. I would guess the answer is something simple. 550iq

Dirt had to come from somewhere. Can you confirm fuel line / filter is clean plus clean out air intake.

Are the foriegn objects in the reeds identifiable?

I'm taking fuel out of problems for now, it started, ran ok before I took it apart. Put it back together now it doesn't run. It fires, revs up and dies on its own. Engine dies within seconds, it will run if you are on the throttle (3000 rpm). Gotta be TPS or throttle cable??
Looks like the reeds did eat some tree bark.

Try adjusting the throttle cable to remove the slack

im not sure on these reeds, but they may have to go in one way. had a banshee atv years ago that i rebuilt and wont hardly run. ended up i flipped the reeds around.

otherwise is there a throttle safety switch and cable needs adjusting

Sled run perfect.......while I was adjusting the cable at the tb's, the cable was turning and tighten up at the throttle end. I backed off some tension and gave it a pull and it started!

same thing

Hey guys,
My 08 700 dragon started idling really low last year to the point were the dash would shut off, over the summer I took it completely apart and my throttle cable was a little lose (stretched out I guess) and my det sensor or knock sensor what ever it's called was lose and the copper inner part of it was reamed out and oblong, don't have it back together yet, but just some things to consider.
