Cleaned Exhuast Valves - Now won't IDLE - HELP

Like title says i just took out my exhaust valves and gave them a cleaning due to my oil linkage to my pump arm came disconnected and my oil pump was stuck wide open. They were for sure gummed up. Anyway, after installing them back in and went to start the sled, it now will barely idle. Very inconsistent idle at best and when throttle is push to get the sled to rev up and engage it about falls on its face. Anybody have a clue? Heading out on a trip soon and hope to have this solved? Please any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the bellows to make sure they are in good condition with no cracks or tears. You should be able to see light through the passage ways into the cylinders. Remove the plugs, run the pistons down and shine a light into the cylinder. If they are plugged, take a small drill bit and carefully clean them out. Also make sure the solenoids are clean along with the hose/connection fittings. Spark plug caps can fail as well.

No offense intended here - did you put one or both in upside down? They don't open at idle, so unless you have a leak, torn or misaligned bellows, hoses off, idle should not be an issue. Good luck.

Reg2view - i actually did place them in upside down intially. However, they dont sit in the correct position that way so it will not tighten up to the cyclinders correctly. Just the clarify, smooth side goes on the bottom while installing the exhuast valves correct?
