hello guys we are looking to try some new areas this year and we were told that clark colorado is good is it? how would you compare it to the snowies and togwotee?
thanks

It's a good area. You won't find the hills that Tog and the Snowies have though.

FYI, Clark is not a town. Just a small general store, post office, and liquor store. It has a few houses scattered around the area, plus Glen Eden Resort. To get to the riding area's, you'll have to travel North about five miles to SLO, Steamboat Lake, or Hahns Peak Village, or another ten miles or so fo the gravel pit just outside of Columbine ...another place that is just a few scattered homes and an even smaller general store which is not sledder friendly. You can lodge at and ride from SLO, Dutch Creek, Midnight Ranch, or a few home rentals in the area. If you stay in Clark at the Glen or in Steamboat, you'll have to trailer.

Second that! Stay away from Columbine, the owner is a complete biotch and is one of the biggest loudmouth advocates against snowmobiling in the area! I know her, she is one of our clients and she is a true granola!
