A writer for SW wants to do a story of the churches that it's members attend. He goes to a church in Wyoming and notices a phone on the wall that says, "Phone calls, $10,000 per minute", he's kinda surprised and asks the pastor about it. The pastor explains that it is a direct line to God and if you want to talk to him it costs $10,000 per minute.
The writer then goes to Idaho and finds a church with a phone inside with the same sign. He asks the pastor .... and the pastor gives him the same story. Colorado, Montana, Washinton, the Canadian Rockies, all the same thing.
Then he goes to a church in Whistler and sees a sign by the phone that says, "phonecalls 35 cents, unlimited time" the writer somewhat surprized tells the pastor about all the other churches he visited and the price to use the phone is so much more. The pastor replies, "You're in God's country now, it's local".
