The show monster quest had an episode about them, it was very interesting. I personally think that these creatures were man made through some experiment gone very bad. It seems that the ones being sighted or found dead are in the same part of Texas.

My first night of college I drank a pint of Wild Turkey and woke up next to what I'm pretty sure was Chupacabra. Pretty sure I could smell goat blood on her.
Did NOT take pics though, as I was already feeling enough shame...
