Yup, we also just got back and rode with him the day you guys left. What an awesome experience!
I would reiterate that if you think you can ride, this trip is for you! Chris (and Jared) are extremely hospitable and CAN RIDE! I thought I was an average rider, but soon learned I'm on the bottom end of the skill chain. We had epic snow two days, 10" of new POW the first, 15" the second....on a wicked base.
His ability to manuver the sled in the tree's is awesome! This ride will help you become a better rider and gives you a real understanding of the term "Boondocking"!!!!! It's not backflips and climbing chutes, it's all about riding areas that I would have never went by ourselves prior to this trip. You will become better at sidehilling-up and down, pow carves, weight transfer and sled control in tight quarters, and a hundered other tips and ideas. You'll ride fresh pow in terrain that you wouldn't have riden without Chris!
When Chris says 'you will get stuck'.........he ain't kidd'n! However he and Jared NEVER batted an eye at pulling our flatlander asses out constantly for two days!!
The accomodations of his house, shop, meals are bad azz awesome!
I too say thank you and recommend this trip! Rock on Chris B and remember, if you can't ride........at least be able to talk Smack!
Although I do have pics of the experience, they don't do it justice as there wasn't much time for photo opp's until we stopped from exhaustion! LOL
