Chinook fest & Yakima Ski Benders

Just wanted to let everyone know about the Chinook Music Festival that's happening this weekend on Chinook Pass. 13 bands, beer, wine, food and a ton of fun!

The Yakima Ski Benders are operating the beer and wine sales in an effort to raise money for the club.

I will be working the beer sales from 4-8 pm so come on by and say high!!

I have a cabin right down the road from the park where the festival will be held. Very nice venue to have this type of event (Jim Sprick Park). If anyone can swing it, there will be three bands booked for the Chinook Fest playing up at Gold Creek Station Saloon friday night before saturdays festival. This is a very nice bar, brand new in fact. The owners of Gold Creek Station Restaraunt, Ron and Vicky spent alot of time, energy and money building this saloon. Check it out!

My wife and I took her sister (B-day) and her husband to the Gold Creek Saloon for dinner tonight. My first time there after how many years of just driving by. What a cool place. My wife wants the giant saw blade with the bear head painted on it. Myself, I would take the 7 by 7 Elk mount The heated concrete floor will be real nice this winter. Pretty good food, too. We are already planning on making a stop or two there this winter.
