A Timothy Treadwell like guy. He has 40 acers in Ak. he has been hand feeding a bunch of bears (mostly blacks but a few griz) This guy has gone waybeyond acclimating them to humans, some looked almost tame. Does he think he is doing the bears any favors? A 20 lbs bag of Alpo would guarantee a bear on a stand anywhere near this dofus's place. How about the hunter fisherman or hiker that stumbles into this guys bear haven without a snack. Why hasnt Ak. locked him up?
 
Pet Grizzly's!...Whats next some fool swimming with pet crocs?.

I have no doubt, with a little time this guy will become a snack for these bears...Not something to screw with..
 
i hope he gets eatin before he can reproduct just like that other retard! that was the best thing that could have happened to them bears!...eating him! they probably got sick of him following them around playing with and touching their kids and talking like a baby heh heh heh.
 
G/f and I watched that lastnight....Not meaning him any harm, but it is only a matter of time.....His ego has surpassed his goal of living with bears.....Next time he slaps one of them those claws might just slap him back.....The feeding thing is WAY across the lines.......IMO!
 
If you remember toward the end of the show, cookie (the griz) bit his hand requiring stitches. From that point on in the show he seemed to realize that all won't always be well. Then he also noticed people were able to just walk into Bear Haven and the bears were all friendly and looking like they've known everyone for years......... so long as the snacks kept coming. :eek::eek:
 
I saw that last night and the first thing out of my mouth was what a dumb @$$. Yep, crocks in the pool, python in your bed, scorpion in your boot, wtf. Their have been two bear sightings in Iowa in the month of June. Haven't had bears here since Jusus was a baby. But that doesn't make me want to feed/pet them.
 
If you have a death wish eat a bullet and leave the rest of the world out. I feel sorry for the poor soul who meets one of his "pet" bears and all they have to feed the damn thing is USDA HUMAN. I know it is just a matter of time before he is toast.

That guy is crazy! I thought the grizzly dude was crazy, but a black bear is alot more naturally aggresive than a grizzly, doin that with a black is up on the danger scale over a grizzly, by ALOT. I realize the grizzly could do more damage, but blacks are ALOT more aggresive than grizzlies
 
I don't have any particular love for bears, I mean, I would put my tag on ones carcass if I had the chance when I was hunting but what pisses me off is that he has basically given them a non-sporting (don't know what else to call it) death sentence by aclimating them to humans. It won't be long until one of them wanders out of that territory and goes looking for food at someone elses house or eats someones dog or, God forbid, their kid and gets shot for it.
 
People are stupid, get a dog. 3 or 4 years ago some guy brought a baby alligator (just a couple of feet long) back to MN and had it on his boat, as smart as people are these days he bite threw the rope he was tied with and jumped in the lake.. Fletchers (the bar it happend at) now has a sign about alligators are welcome or something...
