My first ride of the year and my first time at Cherry Creek. Had a blast!!!

Pretty sketchy start for Marc just to get there and then we realized the wheeler battery was dead which meant Jeanette couldn't ride at all. She was a trooper and hung with the kids while they played and rode their dirt bikes.

Meanwhile Marc and I blasted out of there with no packs which meant no water either.:face-icon-small-sho Duhhhh

And yes, Marc is fast......

Nice, some EPIC riding out there for sure.:face-icon-small-coo

Marc looked like a seasoned vet out there, or at least his dust cloud did.:face-icon-small-ton

I can't wait to be back out there tearing up the dirt.:face-icon-small-hap

Someone was seasoned by Marc's dust cloud. :face-icon-small-hap With that look I know he wasn't that far ahead....

Did someone for get the water?

I was really worried. :face-icon-small-sho All I thought the whole time sitting there with their packs and cooler full of tastie beverages was that they really wanted to ride. :face-icon-small-con

LOL!!!

They won't do that again.

Did you loop out to Ball Bearing Hill?

You should come out and run a desert race later in the year.

Reminds me of when Tyrel broke his 50 when we were riding with Marc. You can get the details from him.

I remember that. That 50 darn near broke in half!!! Strapped it on the back of Gimps wheeler and he rode it out, just like a roll off tow truck.

Two things you learn really quick out there!

1. Water is a must! That dirt out there sucks the life out of you fast!

2. Those little branches that you think are just little soft branches, they are not soft! They will rip a hole in your arm easy if they dont just rip you off the bike! Scary snags in those little brush by's!

Good stuff Ron!

I made a comment along the way how brutal those dry Junipers are. Have a blood blister on top of my thumb from brushing by one.:face-icon-small-sho Thought sure I would lose the camera too.
Would hate to dismount into one of those.

#3. Woops are fast, deep and beat the piss out of your legs.

When I buy a bike!! LOL Traded my bike away about 20 years ago for a snowmobile, and have never replaced it. :)

I think cory needs to meet up with us for the 2010 tibble fork scramble

It was a sweet race last year.

Heard a similar comment this morning. Marc's brother in law was saying how beautiful it is but no time to look around. 52 miles, as fast as we could go, with a few tree obstacles.:face-icon-small-dis

Got some good vids too.:face-icon-small-win
