trailer servicing

Built the trailer 10 years ago everything new,jacked wheel up every year and tighten bearing if needed,greased the buddy like zerk 20 pumps, but yes first time actually pulled apart. Maybe too mutch time working on sleds and neglected trailer ?? thats why I started this post the guys that ride with me said cant belive there bad already, hope everyones better at it than me.

To eliminate getting stranded, I pull my bearings every year end check them out. The last thing I want to deal with is a burned out wheel bearing on the interstate during a blizzard at 3am.

Good reminder. Too many times guys with the "Bearing Buddies" think they don't have to service their bearings. Just replaced all of mine last week. :beer;

The other bad thing I've seen with Bearing Buddies is guys that get crazy with the grease gun on them and blow the seals out the back of the hub and don't notice.
