Was out riding and noticed that when I tilted my bike to the side that the ski stayed level. When I looked closer I noticed that the ski pivot bolt had wallowed out the holes. It looks like the bolt had come lose just a small amount. This bolt was factory tightened take a few seconds and check yours!

When I purchased my first kit back in 2011 I noticed the bolt shank was to short and aloud the threads to wear into the saddle mount ,easy fix was a longer shank bolt ,even on my 2014 kit had the same short bolt issue ,I also used a fiber lock style nut instead of the lock washer ,I demo'ed a 2015 prototype kit and yes they are sweet ,Im sure there will be still small details to refine .

Change the bolt and put one in that the threads extend to the outside so the bolt will have a long shank with minimal threads . The weakest part of the bolt is the threads and it is possible that the bolt could of stretched .

I broke two before I fixed it correctly and also informed them . Kind of sucked riding back with the weight of the front holding the ski in place .

Ditto, on day one I did the same thing, any bolt that has a shear load on it should always be smooth shank where it contacts whatever its supposed to be holding otherwise it just acts as a file. A similar issue exists with the bearing retainer bolts on the chain case side for the jackshaft and drive shaft, it just takes longer to show up.

shock rod bolts

Also check your shock rod (replaces your stock bike shock) bolts. I noticed that on a friend's kit and changed them out for aircraft AN bolts with the correct shank length before any damage was done.
