Check your Nitro Ball Joints

Took apart my front suspension to find the lower Ball Joint is pouched. Its the same ball joint that was replaced 400 miles ago under a recall on all the 08's.
The kicker is Yamaha wants 125 (can) per side for a ball joint!!!! Comon yamaha starting making a good suspension thats works and last.
Don't forget to check your bushings also. Had to replace all of mine.

This is exactly why I went and got the West Coast Sleds front suspension, $250.00 for the ball joints and I still have the heavy stock arms, I dont thinks so. 600 for the WCS stuff and it loses arond 8-9lbs and has a sweet spindle.

Mine where recalled 370km and they where shot again as well. Luckily Yami covered them again. Looks like a new front end is in order because there is no way I am putting that garbage in on my coin.
