several weeks ago I changed my motor oil and my chain case oil. When I changed the chain case oil I took the cover all the way off and inspected all the gears and chains. Everything looked good. Last week I got my hands on a 2.6 so I pulled everything apart again. As I was putting everything back together I was just getting ready to put the chain case cover back on when my friend points at the chain and says that could be a problem.
One little tiny piece of one of the links was sticking out. Now I have to pay 50$ to the dealer because my warranty expired early this year and now i'm on cat care. At least we caught it before it grenade in the back country some where. Moral of the story is make sure you check every single link all the way around.
