Hey everyone, just wanted to share this with everyone and get it out and say that i am very proud to be apart of this. Our sled club is the first in the nation to be CERT certified. I believe more clubs should get involved with their local communities and help out when in need of an emergency. Helps give sledders a good name and take away from the bad. take 3 minutes and watch the video.

good for you guys and your club.

thats an example lots of our snowmobiling community could learn from!

Thats awsome. Two or three years ago over christmas we has a storm here in Minot, ND and the plows couldnt even get around. My club the Gassmann Coulee Crusiers were called in to get nurses and medican from hospitals to homes and bring in nurses for shift changes. I was getting stuck riding around in town on my mountain sled with the big drifts that we had. Then we sat at the police station and waited for calls that they got and we would help them in any way we could. Its pretty cool to help out like that.

thanks everyone for the compliments.

it is a good thing we got goign and hope it will start trends for every other snow club across the nation.

too bad we arent getting snow here this year :( but many next year will have to be called out.

Thats awesome for your club, I am going thru my CERT classes right now and should be done in 6 weeks.

That is truly awesome. Good for you guys/gals.

I know first hand how nasty the winters in ND can be as I spent 9 years stationed at Grand Forks AFB which included the winter of 1996-1997 that led to the huge flood in the spring of '97.
