Check the tubing where your chain tensioner pivots

after that tapered allen bolt in the chaincase kept turning and wouldn't tightening, it figured it out.

the tubing piece that the aluminum tensioner arm pivots on is snapped, right where its welded onto the main frame.

going to be real fun to fix it with the way its built.

might want to have a look at yours.

Last night my tapered allen bolt wouldn't come out. I'm guessing I popped a sleeve loose or stripped the bolt.

not sure i can afford the turn around time though. a buddy of mine has a tig so we will likely do it ourselves. its cromoly right?

You're correct, it's 4130 Chromoly.

If yours is an ST or LT, we have frames in stock. Your only down time would be the in-transit time. We'd ship the replacement frame the same day we receive your frame here. If you wanted to upgrade the shipping, we've had Fedex Priority to Calgary arrive the next day. I'd assume Edmonton would be similar.
