We drove up to Mt Bachelor today about 11AM. Snowing and sticking a bit. Dusting of snow on the ground. White trees!

Snow level on one forecast was for 4000' in Bend tonight.

Good thing i winterized the boat yesterday.

pretty bummed I didn' make it up to get pics of teh first snow of the year like I had planned on... I looked at the cams on mt ashland and stuff though and Mt ashland was getting pounded right before dark. It was raining incredibly hard at my house and I am just over the hill so I knew it had to be snowing hard up there! Man I can't wait!

i went up to lake of the woods and drove the 4 mile loop up to lake ...it was snowing pretty hard ,,,good build up on my mirrors and grill...sticking on the ground too

hopefully this is a sign of things to come, would love to have a good base by thanksgiving or even sooner:)
