Awesome...Looks like a wildfire. one of the better sunsets I have seen in Utah.
snow was gay, almost the worst day ever, dont get me started. But I did get some cool sunset photos

I don't feel so weird about shooting sunrises/sunsets now. 50 years old and I've never seen either like the ones I've seen since moving west.

Johnny, that is a great picture of Gun Sight Butte. When was that shot taken? I haven't seen that much water in Padre Bay in years.

Sweet pics. Sorry to hear you wasted your time going all the way down there. No storms have really hit down there yet this year. Sucks cause thats where our cabin is and its not even worth driving down there this year yet. Don't know where to go for christmas now this year. Usually spend a few days during the break, but don't think thats going to happen this year.
and I know a straight guy who rides a gay sled so which is worse
besides you gonna tell me that aint a manly sunset? it looked like the planet was burning down

Troy Shinn - Tranquil bay
Check out this beautiful shot that Troy took overlooking Gunsight Butt back in July at Lake Powell. Troy says he got up at 4am after sleeping through a rain strom in his tent to awake to this jaw breaking view. Troy is retired from the air force and still shoots film, hasn't made the switch to digital yet, but by the looks of this picture, he doesn't need to change a thing.

here's a moonrise that i saw from campmoon last July, Was camping just one canyon north of Dangling Rope marina.
I.M.O.........Only thing that compares with a great powder day is a great flat water day at lake powell.
