Racer's Edge has come out with an incredible solution for your rear suspension. Don't want to shell out $3000-$6000 for an m-10. Below are some pictures of their little set up. It's basically there way of putting out a more affordable option then the m-10. What's included is below

-Double Adjustable Coil Over Shock (compression and rebound) just got back from their shop and let me tell you that this setup is going to be unreal!!

-Chromoly swing arm

-billet brackets

-UHMN slider blocks

-Aluminum tunnel stiffener's

-Stainless Steel hardward

-Aluminum cross shaft

I've got a couple of pictures with both a cat skid and skidoo skid just to show what they involve and look like. These kits are selling for $2150.00 (extra support brackets sold with the doo kits for the extra cost) If you want any more info, pm me, or you can contact Darryl Baker at 403-254-8686

You can put a deposit in with Darryl to get in line for this.

I tried it out last season, Lance and Daryl always do top notch work. Lance had it sent up really firm so it was hard to tell how it worked. I did not get too excited as I was not a fan of the M-10 I owned previously other than on the trail. If you like the M-10 its a great option.

did you have the dual adjustable shock on the setup you tried. I know first year he put out same shock without adjustment, and this dual setup seems to be unreal. adjust for rebound, and how plush you want the ride. go from basically firm as you can get to very plush.

Those are QA1 shocks... I didn't know they were into sleds!
I have run their stuff on my racecar for a few years now; not cheap but they are good quality, rebuildable and revalveable... or at least the car stuff is.
The rest of the setup looks pretty good too!

Why do guys get into these aftermarket skids? Lighter? Stronger? Are they for climbing or jumping? Do the stock skids suck that bad that you are willing to toss thousands at the skid?

hit the nail on the head. custom built just for darryl's setup. awesome shocks. to answer the question from above, why do we dump money into skids and the rest of the sled. the never ending quest to make our sled better. my wife thinks it's stupid.

Not sure, he just said it was set hard.
