Check Engine light question on 07 M8????

Looked and looked on here for an answer. My check engine light comes on everyonce in awhile, flashes twice, pause then flashes twice again. It's either injector failure or knock sensor failure. Sled runs fine, am i hurting it by riding it, or what do i need to do?? Take it to the dealer?? What do i need to do to fix it?? thanks alot....

number of falshes

1-2 failure in ignition coils
1-6 incorrect adj or apv failure
1-7 failure in exaust temp sensor
1-8 failure in servomotor
2 failure in injectors
2-1 failure in knock sensor
2-3 failure in knock control system
4 open or short in barometric pressuresensor
5 open or short in intake air temp sensor
6 " " water temp sensor
7 " " throttle position sensor
steady flash (coolant temp) temp above 176 degree
constand on (coolant temp) temp above 200 degree

So if the sled runs fine, what should i do. I know if i take it to the dealer it won't flash, it has to be rode awhile to do it. Don't know what to do??? thanks

Mine did the same when my fuel controller died a couple years ago so it's more the likely the injectors. I'd try some injector cleaner or something like that. If that doesn't do the trick take it in, electrical/sensor problems are a nightmare.

my check engine light came steady on one day in cooke. i hurried up and shut it off. looked at the codes and thought it was over 200 degrees. turns out that the coolant dummie light has to be steady on not the wrench dummie light. so, what would it be if the wrench dummie light was steady on? i can't find a code for that. i let it sit for 10 min, pulled the rope, and haven't had a problem since.

it was a little detonation, guess the sensor is really sensitive. pulled it apart and everything looks good, need alittle more race fuel

saddleup- when ever your ready cowboy!!!

07's were sensitive, continue to reset it by holding the reverse button in 5-6 secs until the wrench flashes. It may continue to come back, but keep trying. If it don't go away, then you may have a problem.
