Check Engine Light - No Code

Just heading down the trail after a great day of mountain riding and the check engine light came on the left side of the panel. No code was given.

Stock 12 Pro RMK 163 running 91 non-ethanol fuel. 2300 Miles. No change with the engine noted and power is still very snappy.

Rode the next day with the check engine light always on, and it ran hard all day but on occasion I noticed a brief bottom end stumble.:face-icon-small-sad

Is there a way to check if there is an internal code that I can retrieve without taking it to the dealer?

Polaristar warranty doesn't cover electrical problems :face-icon-small-fro and I'm leaning towards a failed sensor as the problem.

With engine running and check engine light illuminated,
Set parking brake and repeatedly push "set" or "mode" button until code appears.

My guess....exhaust temperature sensor.

Yup, if the code reads "173 ,3" It is the egt sensor. Just went thru this exact thing on a 11 pro. The engine light would come on intermittent, then just stayed on. After replacing the egt sensor, you will need to start it, (the engine light will stay on) until it reaches 110 degrees, then that engine light will go off after the computer runs its diagnostics.
