Cheapest way to ship a tunnel?

What's the cheapest way to ship a tunnel? I'm trying to buy a used one and they want $600 to ship. What's the best option, freight?
Thanks

From where, to where? I would think you could get it moved if it was packaged on a pallet via an LTL carrier like Old Dominion, YRC, etc for a reasonable cost.

If you can find someone with an existing account, you can get pretty steep discounts of the standard rates that will be listed on their websites. If you PM me the weight, and origin and destination zip codes I could run a quote to give you a ball park idea.

Heck, I shipped an entire crated sled from Washington State, to Wisconsin for under $500

i brought a 174 tunnel into a ups store and they helped me out. cost 180 i beleive but they did put two small dents in the top right behind where the seat sits in plain sight.
if you go that route you might want to build your own box and bring it in so they can weigh it then box it.

I just take them and wrap them in saran wrap shipping wrap stuff. I use lots of it to avoid any dents or dings during transit and I also put pieces of styrofoam or cardboard on the corners to avoid them getting bent or poking through the wrapping. Shipping through fedex this way has never given me an issue and has not cost me over $100. The "shipped to" destination will play a role in cost though..

I've used Greyhound shipping in the past for hoods. They just haul it under the bus in the cargo area underneath the passengers. The only drawback - you need to have it dropped off and pick it up at Greyhound terminals - but my $250 quotes elsewhere were done via Greyhound for $70 so it was worth the money saved in my case.

I did this with car parts a lot. Works out pretty good and is very reasonably priced vs. some of the other methods.

I also use grey hound express, just sent a edge hood to Ohio from NY cost me $30.12 and got their with in 14hrs!!! I love the Dog and will use them more often. only down fall is it's not front door service, but they do hold the packages for ~5days if needed.
