Cheapest route for wire trailer with power

Going hook some heat and light in my trailer. Want to know what best way to set it up. Use deep cycle battery and converter or just buy a generator

I would run a gen then you always have power.

Six years with two parrellel deep cycle six volts tied into my pigtail which charges when driving, I have never ran dead, I always unplug from the pickup when it is off to avoid stranding myself. Once ran my furnace for three straight days with no charge. Held trailer at 50 while -38 outside. High of - 8

I've also never had to independently charge my batteries which really surprises me.
