Possibly staying up in the Steamboat area for one night this coming week. Is there a cheap place to stay, don't need anything fancy. Will need to park with a 2 place trailer though.

Rabbit Ears Motel. Clean sheets, warm room. That's it. Lot to the West is vacant so parking overnight should not be an issue.

For about $20 more than the old Rabbit Ears Motel you can stay at the La Quinta (the owner lady is a real gem and may even give you a discount like she did for us on Christmas Eve!) The Beds are THE BEST beds Ive slept on in a hotel in a really long time. Worth every penny to me to have a great bed! Not to mention, includes simple breakfast and they have a hot tub and pool.

I have always stayed at comfort inn. They have always been the same or cheaper then rabbits ears motel or iron horse inn and think they are a much better establishment.

2x on the comfort Inn, It was always cheaper the the rabbit ears motel and they have a decent outside hot tub, but you cant walk to town from there.

X2 for Rabbit Ears Motel. Hot spring are right across the street as well.

Those hotsprings are an expensive joke. If you are looking for that, go to Strawberry Park Hot Springs just up the way. $10, open till midnight, absolutely STUNNING surroundings and clothing optional after dark! Less than 7 miles outta town!

Never seen ya nekkid, but if you are a girl as big as an island, I don't think I wanna. ;)

J/k But in all seriousness, I would not wanna see some of those hairy armpitted granola chicks from the SB area. The SP hot springs are a pretty popular hangout for the "hippy dippy" peeps after the evening work hours.

Had my kids up there last summer and forgot about the clothing optional part after dark, OOPS hahaha we got a surprise. Funny how the ppl you dont want to see naked are the first ones to take it all off. :face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-ton
