Cheap cover for open trailer towing?

Going to have to haul my sled on a two place flatbed this year, one of my riding partners is moving and taking the enclosed. What do you guys recommend for an affordable (read cheap) cover for the Pro's that can be trailered? I'm ok with a universal fit even if I have to toss a few extra straps on it.

The flat bed has a splash shield but I hate have so much road grime on the sled.

I'm in the same boat... I have 2 Pros, a '14 and a '15.
have an OEM cover for the '14, but I don't really want to drop $220 on another one..seeing as how my OEM cover ripped near the handle bars last year :-/

It's not as cheap as a cover but after your go through a few "cheap" cover or good ones you will have paid for one of these . Check out Snocaps I have one on my 2place sled and it rocks. I've had it for 4 yrs and looks as good as new, easy to put on and melts off your sled at the end of the day. Plus you can store the sled on the trailer for the summer.

mined tore there too. i fixed it with duct tape inside and seam seal outside. still working after 3 years. now i remember to loosen the windshield strap.

Don't waist your time with the cheap covers. They will shred to pieces. I have the factory Polaris cover and have never had an issue with there durability.

I'm the poster child for "if you buy cheap, you buy twice". Don't be me. My $89 Universal Raider Cover was made of very thick fabric with decent stitching. It lasted a season and the wind flapping tore holes into it and pulled stitching apart.

I now have a snoskinz cover. We'll see how it does but I have a feeling i'll last much longer.

I'd bite the bullet and get a snowcap. Have one of your riding buddies go half's with you on it. I could never go back to an open trailer even with a cover, the salt will find its way in places.

Check out snowskinz, you will really appreicate the quality!!

+2. Expensive, but a few things make it worth the price. First, it's almost entirely made of stretch material, so no flapping around as you go down the highway. Flapping is what causes holes in covers. Second, it covers the entire sled and is waterproof so your sled arrives at your destination free of rode grime.

Do you guys like the snoskinz better than the OEM cover?

I should have prefaced my 'cheap' comment with the fact that I'm still toying with the idea of getting a smaller enclosed for myself now that our big trailer will no longer be in play!

Call and talk to them- they even cover sun fade-
The quality of the material is very good- and will last for years-
Is it better than Polaris super cover from years past If you can remember that far back) -- indeed!!- thesr are quality made...

I went through two cheaply made covers last season due to windflap. Even with a slush shield and a cover, my sleds would get mud and grit blown up under/into them. Especially when a plow truck would be going the other way at mach ostrich.

I looked into the sno-skinz and the SPG covers. They seemed like a better fit and higher quality. I was just tired of wrestling muddy covers on windy days before a 2 hour drive home. I also wasn't sure if these would seal out the grit unlike the cheaper ones.

I ended up with a Snocap. Took a few weeks to get built but it has complete coverage with interior lighting and saved me money over selling my trailer and buying an enclosed. Good warranty and high quality material. The 10 foot shorter height base model is reasonably priced as well (more than two sno-skinz but right around the cost of two SPG covers IIRC)
