Cheam or the Coke

Looking to go riding has anyone been riding since the snow started to fly up there? Don't know if we are doing a short trip to Mt Cheam in Chilliwack or going to the Coke. Please let me know what you have seen or heard thanks

I have not heard anything but I know there will be a good foot of fresh on the coke...again im not positive but the way its been snowing up there... there must be a bit..

we're heading to brandywine on saturday.. saw some pics... neck deep.. 2 feet on top at least..should make for a great day!

:beer;were in langley too and as far as I know you take #1 to chilliwack and hop off in the downtown part of chilliwack(not sure wat exit number it is) follow that until you come to a bridge just past the old military base. when u stop on the west side of the bridge turn left onto chilliwack lake road.... there is about a 20-40 minuite drive until you get to the turnoff.. it isnt marked very well but all i know is that it is right after a bridge.. there are alot of potholes and the road is fairly wide.... There probablyisnt going to be more than 3 feet up there but maybe enough for a trail ride up top.. chances are that you are going to have to drive up a ways to get to the good snow... hapy sledding:beer;

Thx Rev_Rider,

We went up Chipmunk about a month ago and the snow was scarce. never been up past that though. maybe give it a try next weekend. that or back to the Coq or Whistler. We are just looking for something close to go and be back at reasonable time.

Chipmunk had snow along the river last week end, should be more now.
I know exactly how to get to cheam but have never sleded up there.
might check it out tomorrow, that or the coke.
Let me know if you need directions.

i know how to get to Chipmunk but I am unsure of what turnoff is for Cheam.
Also is it one trail or is there a certain area that is best. Directions would be great.

There is anywhere from a foot and a half to 2 feet + depending on where we rode up at the Coq, Avy risk is high alot of whump and cracks and had a slope crack all the way across but did not come down, so be carefull out there this weekend.

It's the same place. Cheam (via Spoon Lake) is the right turn halfway up the Chipmunk FSR. Thurston etc is the left turn.
