so for the regulars that seen my posts im right on the edge of lean i believe,
so i checked both pistons cuz i know the slp pipe and flash run lean. my mag side looks good on the exhaust face, minus no piston wash on either piston.(but i found i had a sticking oilier cable and hoping that was the cause of the black deposits-now fixed). looking at just above the rings and face of the pto side it looks a bit melted like it got hot. both spark plugs are sooty coco brown. ive been told that's good for a CFI sled....
HAS since 400miles: new fuel injectors, crank+all new seals, new reeds-checked tonight, checked the boots out tonight no tears. tps has been set recently.
will over revving cause this, as im hitting 8150(added weight to the weights but haven't ran it yet)
over oiling?
i was going to get a dobeck to run it a bit richer, but if only one piston is doing it. then what could the cause be?
i don't have the stock can and exhaust so that is not an option.
any suggestions, some say i need a fuel controller, others say my plugs are just right! but my pto piston tells a different story.
