Changing front spring on TS

I bought the raptor triple rate springs for my 17 ST kit. When we tried to swap the springs the back was easy but the front shock shaft wouldn't budge. Does it need to be pressed out and will the pivot joint get damaged pressing out and back in?

It'll pop out with a couple good hits. I'd recommend hitting the head of the bolt instead of the shaft.

It'll come out and go back in with no damage.

We hit it pretty hard...

It only took me a few minutes to do mine on a brand new kit. Went back together pretty smooth.

I had the same issue - Rear was easy, but the front was not moving at all!

I ended up taking it to a local mechanic and they did the removal and re-install of that for me. He used a drill press and mocked up holder thing or something for it he said.

Cost me 60 bux which i would of rather not of spent, but I wasn't comfortable banging on it as hard as it seemed to need.
