Changing from Polaris VES Gold to Phillips66 Injex Pro - what do I need to do?

I'm changing to Injex Pro from VES Gold on a buddy's (factory Poo guy) recomendation. He runs Injex Pro in all his race sleds, turbo, and fun sleds. He said it's a better oil, and it costs me $23.00/ gallon instead of $38.

So, when switching from the Synthetic VES Gold, to the Semi-synthetic Injex, what do I need to do? Run the oil way down? I know that mixing oil is a bad idea, but how much VES Gold can be left in the bottle before I refill with Injex Pro?

I'm doing this on my 08 D7, and wifey's 06 600 carb.

i would just let it run low. I wouldn't worry about it. Never seemed to hurt any of my engines switching oils now and again. How could it be as bad as running 10% ethanol in your fuel.

I just put the oil in and mixed it with the Polaris oil, no probs. Only thing I wouldn't put in there is Amsnotoil.

So just run the synthetic down low and then fill up with semi-synthetic? That's what I'm hearing right? Just want to make sure before I do it.

yea. I run skidoo 50/50 blend but everyonce in a while i barrow some from my friends when im out. Just let it run low and fill it up.
