Changing belt on a 93 Suburban

As simple as it seems? Loosen the tensioner and take it off? Need just a socket or box wrench??

Tensioner is spring loaded, don't loosen it. Use the bolt in the center of pully. There should be a diagram on the rad. support. Or have a good memory on how it went on. Good luck.............. :beer; :beer;

Sorry, thats what I meant; swing the tensioner out of the way. There is a diagram as well. Thanks!

Ya also might want to check the tensioner for side play, and the wheel part of it too. Had one go bad last year and fall off. The replacement part was pretty cheep, I wish I had caught it before it went. Kinda leaves you stranded.

The belt looks good so I a not even going to bother. I do have a spare and we are heading out tomorrow. Dont want to dig into anything now because I wont be able to do anything about it but worry. :/
