changing 11 or 12 pro to belt instead of chain drive $$

Polaris had almost put out a belt drive kit to upgrade the previous years...they had a part number and everything... but never put it out there.

If you want to go with a belt drive... I'd recommend going with a TKI or C3 drive kit and run a QuickDrive Bearing plate. Your stock driveshaft will work in a pinch from what I understand.

Somewhat off topic:

Interesting that in the upgrade kit they were going to supply a plug for the Chain Case Drain hole in the Fender, but never bothered to install that plug in any of the QD production sleds. 7080936 1 EA CAPLUG-#BPF-7/8"-6 BLACK

If your serious; I would start a WTB thread, there are bound to be new take offs available for far cheaper than paying new prices. I know I have an extra bearing plate and a box full of stock sprockets, I'd like to find a new home for. FWIW
 
I ran those parts into an online order website, way cheaper to buy an aftermarket kit.

That is my guess why they didn't go ahead with the polaris kit.
 
You can pretty much buy everything you need off of ebay or here for around 350 to 400 dollars if you use your stock drive shaft
 
The plate is p/n 5632556

And then the 13-15 Pro belt drive kit from TKI will fit right on.,

Did this on my 11, works great, relatively easy, sled feels a lot snappier.

It's amazing how much the chain case, gears and chain weigh compared to the belt drive parts.

I bought the following parts off e-bay:

Backer plate
Jackshaft w/13 brake rotor
Sprockets and QD belt

Used original driveshaft and brake caliper.

Mostly bolt on with the exception of grinding off small piece on bulkhead to allow backer plate to mount flush and drilling out brake caliper mount holes slightly to allow larger 11 bolts to pass through.

One downside to stock setup is that is does not have a tensioner like the aftermarket. Thought I saw just a tensioner someone adapted to the stock setup though.
